Recreation of Paranoia on the newer Source engine.

There are no original levels and some old mechanics. This is a fanmade build, and its purpose is simply to try to make something like Paranoia but in the source engine. Gameplay it will be the same paranoia, but all in one lvl.

The used content is "old ported content" (credits will be indicated). I worked on scripts and code. Perhaps in the future I will release various "operations" (levels) for this game. At the moment I don't plan to port the original paranoia (maybe someday I will), but right now I wanted to do something reminiscent of it.

I hope you will be interested in my implementation of this mod. I tried to use some of the advantages of the new engine:

  • Upscale textures.
  • Bump-mapping
  • Use of physical objects (physbox) in maps.
  • Ragdolls.

At the moment the game has:

  • One map (special operation based on cs_paranoia 1.6)
  • All weapons from original paranoia (slightly changed mechanics)
  • GUI and custom hud (From CS:CZ but slightly modified)
  • Ported models.

Да, наверное там и лучше. Сейчас не так много графических отличий, постараюсь билд выпустить более "графонистым"

I am pretty confident that as a result of porting the mod to Source, it can allow an easier gateway to port them over to Gmod through one way or another. 🙂
