Work on Outgunned continues! Here's a new progress update where i show some new stuff!

Welcome to the first and probably only progress update for Outgunned, why "probably only"? Well, the mod's basically almost done! All the levels have been blocked out and all that's left to do is playtesting, bugfixes, most importantly: detailing, and also some other stuff.

So first off, here's some shots of the intro map that i've just finished - the Rebel base!

The mod starts inside the Rebel base, where you have to meet up with a squad leader - Adam, and he tells you the plans for the assault on the Combine Depot.

Before you meet up with him though, you can explore the base, and play a funny little arcade game!

I've finished up the arcade a bit since the last article so it's even better now.

However, as you could've guessed, the base gets invaded by Combine patrols, and you have to fight your way out and meet up with Adam.

That's all the shots i need to show you of the Rebel base, however there's more i still got to show!

The Outpost and Depot levels still look relatively the same since i haven't begun detailing them yet, but the Depot is fully finished now, and i've also been experimenting with color correction so the maps look cooler! Here's some shots of both maps!

And that's really about it! I'm going to start finishing the mod up soon, and expect a release either this month or in December, or worst case, early next year! Maybe i'll post a little gameplay video when i get more stuff done.
