This time we'll show the commander tree options you will have when playing the Ostheer. They are named Army Support Troops, Army Elite Troops and Army Fortress Troops.
Army Support Troops
Luftwaffe Support
- Luftwaffe Recon Command - 2CP (Calls on Air Command Sdkfz/263 and allows Storch Recon planes to be used. You need to have the Air Command Sdkfz/263 on the field to call recon runs and Ju 87 'Stuka' support.)
- Brandenburger - 2CP (Airdrop of special infantry -> NO linking with SdKfz. 263!!)
- Aces High! 3CP (Gains Ju 87 dive bombing ability, requires Air Command Sdkfz/263 to be on the field.)
Foreign Support
- Foreign Volunteers - 2CP (Call-in a single random Foreign squad)
- Fear factor - 2CP (Accuracy against Ostheer units decreased for limited time)
- Foreign Battlegroup - 3CP (Call-in two random Foreign squads and 2 Foreign Tanks)
Army Elite Troops
Assault Battalion
- Jaegers - 3CP (Call on a squad of highly trained sharpshooters)
- Panzerkrieg! - 2CP (Infantry fight better when near friendly tanks)
- Tiger Production - 3CP (Replace Panther with a buildable Tiger I)
Elite Battalion
- Infantry Recon - 1CP (Infantry sight range's increased)
- Ostkrieg! - 3CP (Infantry receive a range and damage bonus when fighting from cover and buildings)
- Elefant - 5CP (Call-in the feared Elefant Tank Destroyer)
Army Fortress Troops
Improved Defences
- Improved Fortifications - 2CP (Pioneers can construct Panzernests and Tripwires)
- Improved Communications - 2CP (Field HQs can still operate when in isolated territory)
- Wespe - 3CP (Call-on the 105mm Wespe Self-propelled howitzer)
Improved Supply
- Prioritised Support - 2CP (For a short period of time Ostheer produce more resources)
- Prioritised Weapons - 2CP (For a short period of time Ostheer produce units faster)
- Royal Tiger - 5CP (Call in a Tiger II Henschel)
Meanwhile from the front...

Elefant...? Yes please.
Looking good, guys. :)
\m/ o.0 \m/ rock that elefant!!
Awesome doctrines. Though I'm curious as to what these 'foreign tanks' are.
oh and what would a 'panzernest' be?
probably an AT gun bunker or something as the name refers to an anti tank sturcture / bunker :) also it can be a dugout where tanks can drive into , giving better protection and only the top part visible.
Is is a small bunker manufactured as a trailer and mobile and is for infantry with MGs...
Some sort of steel bunker. ;)
There's a pic in the forum post.
Just scroll down.

@CranialWizard from EF forums found a better picture:

Yes, it's a small metal bunker armed with an MG. But the bunker is static.
Most interesting... I'm mostly speechless!
wohhooo!!! nice Doctrines, though i kinda expected the doctrine names to be like army group south, center and north (like the forum guys suggested)....well, glad to see the foreign troops (suggested in the forums) be brought to life here....can't wait to see next updates. nore pics for the Ostheer next, Please???
looks great
Nice.
I hope that means panzer 38 (t)
it looks like a medium tank, but is tiny <3
wouldn't fare too well against t-34s which is obviously the standard tank for the Russians. But then again, neither would the H35.
neither did the Hotchkiss H35 (f) :p
pz38(t) it was used pretty late war against partisans, so I guess it will cut it.
First off, I just want to say what an excellent job you guys are doing with this mod! It's nice to see a game with an active community such as Company of Heroes.
I just wanted to add my two cents regarding the Ostheer doctrines(which sound really cool). Regarding the "Aces High!" ability, I'm assuming that the time frame for units in game is mid-to-late war? If that's the case then it might be more accurate to replace the Ju 87 with one of the Focke-Wulf 190 fighter bomber variants, since the "stuka" was largely obsolete by 1943. This, however, is just nitpicking so please don't be offended. Can't wait to see the finished product, keep up the good work!
People seem to have unanimously agreed that they'd love to see the Stuka in since it's an iconic piece of machinery.
I wouldn't disagree with that, the Ju87 is definitely an icon of the Blitzkrieg. Thanks for the reply.
W00T! FALLSCRHIMJAEGER!
Actually it's Gebirgsjager. They are mountain troops which are a completely different thing.
Those skins are exactly like in bk mod.....nice work !
if there is a next update what will it be about??????
The German Foreign Legion?
lol. jks
