Post news Report RSS Ostheer Update 10(early) - Screenshot Gallery

As we are delayed by too much time from the date we were supposed to release the second video, we decided to post this. Enjoy it :).

Hello Eastern Front fans,

Before anything else, we apologize for the long delay with the next update of Ostheer; unfortunately we haven't been able to export some vehicles and infantry equipment and as we are short of free time due to real life issues, we didn't make up anything.

Frankly speaking, we don't know when we are going to be able to export the remaining stuff, so it's time to show some screenshots of what we have done. We know that the Tigers aren't part of the Schutzen War Camp, but as they were ready, we decided to post them as well. Also, we included some units that weren't featured in the first video, like the panzerbüchse/ofenrohr troops and the sdkfz. 9 "Famo".

When we have the models finished we are going to start making the video. Hope you like the screenshots :).

Tiger II ausf. B "King Tiger" - Henschel Version
One of the late Command Tree abilities for Army Fortress Troops. Credits to Skyward, Halftrack and Tankdestroyer for the original model, skin and aniumations and eliwood for the improved version. Thanks to Celéstial for the heads up about the skin :).

Tiger ausf. E - Late Version

PaK 40
Replaces PaK 36 after Schutzen War Camp's modernization is researched. Credits to Loran Korn & Tankdestroyer for the model and the skin.

Panzerbüchse Troops
Available at Infanterie Gruppen Post. We still need to animate the gear for the soldiers, the weapon is finished. Credits to BurroDiablo for the Pz.39 model and the skins, thanks to Tiger for the animation of the gun.

Ofenrohr Troops
Available at Infanterie Gruppen Post after it's modernization is researched, all the soldiers on the field are upgunned with the RPzB 43. We still need to animate the gear for the soldiers, the weapon is finished. Credits to BurroDiablo for the early shreck model variation.

Sdkfz. 9 "Famo"
Builder unit for Ostheer, the crane missing in this old version :P. Credits for the model and skin to BurroDiablo, animations by Tiger.

Panzer II ausf. L "Luchs"/Panzerfusiliers/Sturmpioneers
Everything available at Schutzen War Camp. This old version of the Luchs is darker due to some missed polys. Luchs model made by Jimbosmith and skin made by BurroDiablo, Panzerfusiliers modelmix and skin made by WartyX, Sturmpioneer skin made by evilSpike.

FINAL RENDERS:

Sdkfz. 251 ausf. B
Available at Schutzen War Camp; after it's modernization is researched it is replaced with the ausf. C version. Model and skin made by BurroDiablo.

Panzerwerfer 42(based on Sd.Kfz.4/1)
Model and skin made by BurroDiablo.

FINAL NOTES:

  • All the skins/models posted here shall be considered as WIP .
  • Credits to Relic as well for the original models of the Panzershreck, Halftrack ausf. 251, Tiger and King Tiger.
  • The new revision for some units and the gear for infantry is on stand by
due to problems with Relic exporter(and almost non-existant free time
atm). The same reason we cannot do the second video right now.
  • Atm, Ostheer tanks are not goint to feature coupola MGs, I just added them because looks cool :).

Just asking, is the game that he/she is playing when recorded and capture by picture did he put the option no shadow? And i think there is no lighting too. May i ask why ? For full performance ?

There are a few lighting issues on some models in the images as we haven't been able to get newer versions animated and ingame yet. If you spot anything glaringly obviously wrong in these images, there's a good chance we've already spotted it and fixed it.

The fact that you included the gas mask on the gunner model for the oherohr is so awesome! And the ammo rack on the assistant gunner, even more awesome! Talk about perfect historical accuracy. Greatly looking forward to the Ostheer.

I remember when it was the Soviet team that I was so looking forward to. Then I saw the Ostheer and was like; "Red is beast but those Panzers roll over pretty much anything." Just out of curiosity, has there been a determined release date for the Ostheer? I figured this has been asked numerous time as I can see one already at the bottom, but I simply must know due to the epicness this expansion holds!

I need mine Panzahs! So I can roll ova zee red commiez in zee name of zee Reich! >:O
