After the comments about the Styx "before" level looking good as well I decided to check up on a 3rd map instead of taking a break between Christmas and New Years. I finished this level roughly 3 years ago in the "before" stage and I wasn't planning on releasing it. After some work I got it compiled for the Orange Box and running on our latest build as the level was originally made in Episode 1. This level is a lot more open as opposed to Styx and Russia. Undersiege takes place in an industrial desert wasteland. This was the level I was initially going to redo before Styx, but those plans got ditched as Styx seemed to be the better choise at the time. The level center focal point is a shipyard amongst huge milling factories. This level was designed all around the vehicle game play. I see this map kind of as a BF1942 level where you have large open areas and vehicles raging through them. So basically this means Off Limits will come with an unexpected 3rd level upon release! These are all work in progress but here are some of the areas I worked on mostly over the past week.

Things are going extremely fast (which I wasn't expecting). I redid two spawn point areas completely to balance out the level. This level is also quite big, it takes 20 seconds by vehicle to get from one spawn point to the next (5 spawn points means 1min 20 seconds to go all the way around the level!). This level was originally built around our vehicle game play which is why it has this size. I hope to have this level done by next weekend. Our code updates should also be done around that time and hopefully we'll also have found the crash bug by then. I changed the release date back to "TBD" because quite frankly at this point it could be any time soon, we can't pinpoint it to a specific day, but rest assured, we're VERY close.

I remember the version with long roads around the map. That was when the alien gameplay was still planned.

This is a good decision, it's by far better to release a game or mod later with more than 2 maps than an early release. People tend to get too focused on first released maps so they often refuse to play later coming ones.
