Post news Report RSS [NEWS] Rebirth Texture Overhaul: The Bitter Coast

Hey guys! I hope you're well, and that you're enjoying v 3.5. Today I'm happy to introduce new textures for the Bitter Coast region. The textures were created by 'Mr.Zz' and are 2 k in terms of size. The textures are to be considered "vanilla-friendly", and closely resembles those found in vanilla Morrowind.

Down below you can view a "low res" sample, but I suggest you download the full package here: Moddb.com and view them using photoshop, paint.net or any other program able to read dds files. With that said I hope you enjoy what Mr.Zz made for us! More to come!

Will this eventually be included in the Rebirth download?

Perhaps. I'm worried that a full package might be to big to include in the Rebirth download. Anyway it all depends on Mr.Zz, and how much time he has to spend on this project :)

That makes sense of course, but most gamers aren't worried about large downloads as much as they are worried about keeping track of files.
I play Morrowind with a bunch of different mods and its hard to uninstall them because of all the folders. I love Rebirth because it combines a LOT into one simple installer.
So user friendly!!!

Is it really worth dedicating time to graphics when there are already many texture replacement mods for Morrowind?

Less than 5 % of them are true to vanilla textures, especially ground textures. So.. the answer is yes.
