Hello everyone! Today's announcement is going to be kind of new and never done before and I don't know how the fans will react but today... I'm going to try to do and announce... something new. But first, I would just like to say a thank you to @Eranthis for being in the UA Team for... how many years? A huge, huge while and I just would like to give a shoutout to him and deliver to everyone his message.

Going to announce here that I'll be stepping down from the Ultimate Apocalypse mod, at least for the time being. I feel at the moment that my ambitions get in the way too often with the team's work and I should consider putting that effort into projects I have more control over. Still, it's been a blast making content for the mod and I'm glad I got to contribute in improving so many aspects of its content. Here's to seeing 1.9 released.``

I have put some thought into this for a while and I (Lord Cylarne, creator of UA) myself would like to try something new, different, and fun. Basically, long story short, a special someone gave me a great idea of a term called "hiatus" and I would love to try it. I like the internet and I love talking to my fans and friends, but I also became... "addicted" to it 24/7 and I've noticed that while I want to create content and do this and that with ambitious stuff coming your way, I tend to... watch youtube videos and chat online most of the day when I don't even need to. I feel like I have a job to attend to my audience and deliver them goodies for you to munch on only via eyes so you cant munch on it, it's not edible. But... all the time. I worry that all of my accomplishments will fade if I don't deliver something weekly. Says my anxiety. Anxiety is a biotch. Anyways...

I remember when I first started Ultimate Apocalypse Mod... it was just called Apocalypse Mod of course at the time, but it was the ONLY thing I had on my mind. I had so much fun. I could insert 10 units a day if I wanted with glorious functionality. Sometimes balanced. Now I struggle to increase a Tyranid unit's health. Even starting up the mod alone finding out it doesn't work today... is exhausting. Kind of like lack of sleep. No actually it is very much that. But anyways too many projects are on my mind and I'd like to stick to one, like my Never Winter Nights Mod, youtube videos I plan to work on, my next gen video game that has original and well developed ideas just sitting in my Game Design Document very much ambitious but I lack the time for it. And worrying what goes on in the internet is a very big one.

By the way I like coffee a lot.

So in the next few days, I have decided to try something out of my comfort zone, listen to my brain's needs and take some time off from the internet for a while. Maybe at this rate, I'll come back with ultimate surprises. Who knows? But I want everyone of you to know that I'm doing this for the better. It's been a long time since we saw a big thing happening anyways so what is there to lose? By the way I have Patreon.

Final words, thank you for reading this very large wall of text and thank you for sticking with the mod in its slightly hibernating times. We will be back... I do plan to finish version 1.9 and bring its release! The team does too all of us but remember, the longer we work on it, the more awesome and more fleshed out the project is. Unless you like bugs. Not the 'Nid bugs but the bad bugs. Not the bed bugs either. Okay yeah bed bugs are bad too so them as well. POINT IS

I will also be in a position to upload new content so it is just me not talking on discord for a while. If I have new UA content to deliver to the mod team I'll pop up online and bam another development, but like I said I decided to stick to one project at a time.

There is a grand future ahead of us folks, but I want to see its success. So this is why this is happening.
