Greetings. I'm Adam T, the head of Deep 13, a new mod team that's begun work on two Half Life 2 mods...

Two?! Yes, two. Both are in development simultaneously as one is the planned sequel, however both are very different.

Here is a very brief overview of each mod...

Operation Echo Wave - a post Half Life, time travelling, monster blasting single player adventure.

In this you play Dr. James Troy, friend and colleague of Gordon Freeman. Following a dramatic escape from a military prison on an alien world, you find yourself aboard the Centurion Research Vessel; a colossal space station that is now infested with dangerous alien life. With the help of the scattered science crews, it's your mission to travel back in time and avert the Black Mesa disaster. Failing this though, you must find a way to destroy the Centurion before it reaches Earth.

Centurion - a post Half Life, monster blasting, multiplayer co-op adventure.

This is the sequel (or the prequel depending on which way you look at it) in which you are part of a military squad sent in to pursue James Troy as he negotiates the 100 decks of the Centurion. Five dropships give chase - however your ship and squad are pulled off course and instead of docking at Deck 1, you dock at Deck 100. You're marooned and now you have to work up to Deck 1 in order to secure a means of escape. It's no longer a pursuit but a race for survival.

Voice Talent

So far the team consists of...

- 1 x Conceptual Artist
- 1 x Conceptual Artist / 3D Modeller
- 1 x 3D Modeller
- 1 x Musician
- 1 x Creative Advisor (for want of a better description)

My own skills primarily cover 3D Modelling, Mapping and Sound Engineering.

You may notice that one of the roles is for an Assistant Project Director (I dislike these technical titles) - this is basically someone I can count on and work with in order to bring this project to life. A track record in mod/game development is essential and so is a working knowledge of the Source SDK.
