Why not use another engine to update the textures/graphics/animations for this game? Just overhaul the entire game to make it like new?

They said in the forums that it was in the bug and testing stage on November 6, of 2012. so we have untill aprill to start losing our **** over this

Excellent work, it looks so much better now. Sure around year 2000 we didn't have that much powerful gaming PCs so the texture sizes must be reduced to have good performance (trade-off for quality), I can understand that.

One question: Is it possible (on engine side) to increase texture size further than just 256x256, like 1024x1024 or 4k?
