Well this certainly was not what I was expecting to be writing today, when I made the last post. On Saturday, I was offered my leadership back. After consideration, I accepted. Now I am co-leading with BlackPanther and HuRR. Weird, considering it was getting close to a year since me and NegIon resigned in the first place. Well on with rest of the news now.
We have a new member: Arrow. He is helping us in the modelling and skinning departments. He has already been making busy of himself. He has been working on skinning the Jaeger player model amongst other things. It is looking mighty fine as you can see for yourself below.
Myristate has been busy as well. He has been working on the new team selection menu by BlackPanther. As you can see, it is a dramatic improvement from what we have currently, and what is considered the norm for Half-Life team selection menus.
There is no definite release for either of these pieces of work will be in, but they will be coming your way soon. The release date of 1.2 is still undecided. Progress is being made on the website however. As you can see there is still a lot to do, but all the different parts are slowly coming together. Today a server list went up. It will list all the Battle Grounds servers at five-minute intervals. In addition, if you have HLSW installed you can click on the links and have the server details copied to HLSW, ready to connect to that server.
Within the next few days, more sections to the site will be on there way up. Keep watching this slot for more details
