Hello and welcome once again.

Apologies for the long gap between updates, but we are all bogged down with real life here. Exams for some, jobs for others, but it will all be over soon and normal service will be resumed. Today I have the pleasure of bringing you in-game shots from an updated version of bg_forestroad by Predator. Since the last update, Predator has done some great work on forestroad expanding it and improving it. Below you can see three the screen shots.

I also can reveal to you a render of the Jaeger, which will almost certainly feature in 1.3. It is certainly looking amazing. I personally cannot wait to see this model in game. Below is the aforementioned render.

In addition, we welcome Chad to the animating team. He will be working on the 1.3 animations. Give him a warm welcome on the forums and IRC. In related news the site has been updated with the team page, detailing all the team members. Black Panther has completed a skin for the forums, which is very impressive, and I recommend you all to try it.

I am also posting a help wanted request for skinners, preferably those who can also mesh, but that is not a requirement. Post examples of your work on the forums or contact us on IRC if you are interested.

While we are all busy with real life and exams, that does not mean that work is not being done. Black Panther today has completed some amazing enhancements to the crosshair system, which have to be seen to be believed. Sam is making exceptional progress on his as yet unnamed map. Roska is still churning out exceptional player models ready for 1.3. Render is still busying himself in his secret maps. Most people here are busy in some way. I myself am working on expanding func_point for the mappers to provide triggering and other niceties.

On the forums a few days ago there was an interesting post regarding the new release scheme we were meant to be following. I can officially announce it has been scrapped. We found it was unfeasible for a part-time team to produce high quality work of a substantial nature and have it fully tested in the time scale that we were proposing. This is why we have reverted to the tried and tested release method of "When it is ready".

Except word from Beta tests of 1.2 soon, but until then be happy and read the forums.

I've noticed something on the models, when u play as second choice in American team (cant remember the name) the reload sequence u can see that the pipe is a real pipe and the reload stick is going outside 2 times, same on the 3rd select but the pipe there are just a cylinder and not a pipe.

That happens on a few of the guns and we are aiming to fix it
