As some might have noticed we have submitted Missing Information for review on Steam. This means we are in the final steps of getting approved for a Steam release.
The first release on Steam will serve as a base for future updates. This specifically means that the first release will only contain fixes for bugs that were introduced with the SteamPipe update. Unfortunately, this also means that there won't be any new content available. It is our hope that will be able to push out a couple of updates before we reach the end of 2018 (no promises)!
Currently we have workshop support planned which we hope to have ready in some form in 2018.
Missing Information will no longer rely on Half-Life 2 or any of the episodes which means future bugs will be entirely on our own account - scary!
It is important for us to clarify that Missing Information will be FREE on Steam and will ALWAYS be free!
If you have any questions, concerns or feedback hit us up on Twitter or in the comments, we love hearing from everyone.
Wow.
Wow.
wow
World of warcraft.
weow
I'm sorry what? This is so vague, so is development of new assets and areas coming or just engine bug fixes? Either way glad this will be coming to Steam.
New content is coming. First release is bug fixes and engine updates. We want to establish a good base on Steam first.
Amazing, cannot wait.
Could you let us know if there is any news from Valve about being approved? Thanks!
Awww yeah!
Missing Information on Steam, that makes me happy.
I'm working on a german translation for this half life 2 mod.
Greetings, Oliver 'Mr. Duke' Treitler
We'd be interesting in adding it as an official language if you're up for it!
Yes, you can add the german texts.
Best regards, Oliver
Oh my.
Headcrab!
Hey Blue, where's your ****?
Holy heck
Seeing as I haven't played this mod yet, I am very excited for a Steam release!
about time you ****
Sweet!
They go from silent and dead to coming to steam... That's all well and good but with ZERO content? What have you been doing all this time then? I know mods take some time but it is frustrating unless you intend to launch new content soon.
Taking care of my life among other things.
Man, I remembering following this mod back in... ****, I can't remember how long ago. Glad it isn't dead, glad you're doing alright, and best of luck with this.
Its been a while
hihiiiih bwuoai
Worth the weight, mate!
Wait))
Looking forward to it :)
Been waiting for years, yet every day until release is still worth waiting. That aside, I'd honestly still be willing to pay $20 on Steam for this. Even if it's centered around Valve cut content, I've always thought the amount of passion put into projects like these is worth being paid for - and I know I'm not alone.
How the hell of a Nihilant's **** I can find the mod on steam!?
And the 1.6 is obsolete to run
when is it gonna be released on steam?
