Alpha is coming

We are getting close to Alpha and the more support we get, the better we work.

Main city (Lobby). Remember, the main city is Pamplona, as we develop the game by modules, firstly the Kingdom of Navarra and then we will expand it with new kingdoms with their own capitals.

We should also remember that when you first enter the game you will do it in those capitals, in this case Pamplona. This city is split in three neighborhoods, each one like it's own small city with their own walls. The "Navarrerías" neighborhood was only inhabited by people born in the Kingdom of Navarra, in "San Cernín" the french and merchants made their living and in "San Nicolás" inhabited the rest of the people, without distinctions.

There will be three different versions on the alpha development:

Alpha - San Nicolas:

Alpha - Navarrerias

  • Navarrerias neighborhood

All features that where done in Pre-Alpha are also present at the Alpha, a small reminder:

  • Ranged and melee combat system.
  • Picking and moving objects system.

New work to do:

  • Implement the moving objects system inside the houses, so you can move all your furniture.
  • New character gear system inside your house or shop. When out the open world you will be able to pick up weapons lying around leaving behind the ones you are wearing. We have a small struggle here... You lose your weapons and get the ones we pick up? Feel free to leave a comment with your opinion!
  • We have already started to design the final human model, there are still some missing details, textures, animations and a nice and round head, and don't forget about those completely animated hands. We hope you like it when we finally release it.
  • Fix first person camera when aiming with ranged weapons.

Pre-Alpha completed work:

  • Added projectile physics.
  • Added orbital camera.
  • Third person camera repositioned. (Now you can see your lovely character's legs)
  • Added camera switch between first and third person view when you don't have ranged weapons.
  • Already done, but not yet implemented, a basic options menu. (Only graphic options right now)

All donations will be recorder in a well-guarded document. So everyone who donate before December 1 will be the first in the credits and recieve a commemorative label on the official forum.

We are serious, adult people and we will finish the project regardless. But developing without a budget really limit us, chiefly because we can not afford the licensing engine that we are using, Unity 3D. Remember that we are a small team. We are working remotely, hence some failures on the rise in the latest versions already solved.

This looks very promising. The game is most likely going to be in ARMA standards of realism which is very pleasing. I reconmend making each feature near perfect before moving onto a new one.
