Pilgrims on their way to St. James of Compostela (or other famous shrines), and mercenaries for hire, northerners were often at hand to help the Spaniards take back Iberia from the Moors. Though not as popular as fighting in Outremer, men could expect to gain holy favor and possibly even martyrdom, and they did not need to travel nearly as far.

This is a really good job!, congrats!, although being from Spain, I cannot quite see problems with the coats of arms. If the mod is set in 1212 AD, then Castilla's coat of arms would only be the golden castle with the red background, because the lion was added in 1230 AD, as the Kingdom was renamed from "Castile" to "Castile and León" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_arms_of_Castile_and_León).
Furthermore, some Tier 3 units have another coat of arms, this time the Kingdom of Castile and Aragón combined, which happened in the time of the Catholic Monarchs around 1490 AD, and even the Cross of Burgundy which wasn't used in Spain until the XVI Century.
Just a little bit of info to help make this mod awesome, thank you!
The caampaign begans on 1212 a.d. nut it continious on the history
Great work but the spanish rodeleros did not use the kind of shields that we can see in these images, which look like wooden shields with heraldic designs. The "rodelas" used to be simple steel shields more like the one in this picture: Aceros-de-hispania.com
They would be far more recognizable if you would change these shields. Cheers!
I love the shield designs but, as @mikeboix said, rodelas are quite different!
This faction looks absolutely gorgeous. I love the pregression of the units and the coats of arms. Great job!
The whites are far too perfect and clean for Medival and Attila's gritty feel.
looks good so far keep it up
great work, but the colors always feel way to bright for me. Dont know what you other guys think abot this
Good Job! ;)
