Lone Wolf has been in production for 5 years and has grown considerably from it's roots.
Being an evolving and rapidly growing project means there is a lot of obsolete and unfinished things in the mod.
Lone Wolf Resurrection will resolve this by going back to square one.
Starting from the basics I'll be rebuilding Lone Wolf back up from the bare bones.
This new version of Lone Wolf will be greatly streamlined and more polished work.
A lot of the old art and code will no longer be there to add to the filesize and complicating things with bugs.
The mod as a whole is getting reworked into a tighter better performing mod.
The list of bugs and unfinished work for Lone Wolf had grown so great that it will be quicker to start again.
As the code is being remade the original artwork will be updated to bring it to a consistent quality level.
Lone Wolf will now be made in a more systematic approach with one faction being completed at a time.
The factions are all getting reworked all with new tech trees with new spells,units and buildings.
Heroes will be simplified with some abilities being removed fpr balancing and to encourage Lone Wolf's more Macro based combat.
There will likely be a beta for LWR due in the upcoming months with the 4 Vanilla factions.
Rohan,Gondor,Isengard and Mordor being released first with the other factions being released over time.
I'm also planning on releasing a version of the old build with the Current Beta factions as of 0.37.
The Fiefdoms and Morgul won't be released with it though.
