Join developers Corey, Slevered, Kalo, Codeuser, Enceladus (until he DCs) and tester TLMiller as we do a playtest of Ascendancy on the Into the Cluster map. We likely can't actually finish this particular game considering the volume of edits we make between games at this point renders saves unusable, but we plan to put out a few videos showing our progress as we approach release. Keep in mind this is all alpha footage, so there's plenty in an unfinished/placeholder state. The point of these videos is to show our progress and what's left to be done, and prove the mod exists. I'll get better at talking and doing more interesting camera work while playing as we go as well, ideally.

It's good to see things like this. It gives patient people an idea of where the mod is at and it gets impatient people to shut up.

They probably will change it when they get to it. They want to probably get the game balanced first.

We'll be replacing all voiceovers with suitable ones. We've already changed the "announcers" for each faction (as you heard in the video) however we've yet to record most of the unit lines; the vast majority of the work left is abilities, and in certain cases those would need to be done before voiceovers, so we didn't want to create extra work by getting them wrong the first time.
