So Ladys and Gents hey again,
Are working together on 2 things, which are both very similar, I have been in talks with him for along time over getting things working, various additions and working on things behind the scenes. After a long talk about my dislike of how Unreal works for Unwrapping, and model importation for things like vehicles, and characters we came to an agreement.
What we are now doing is basically the same project only, I am willing to create everything model wise, and send it to him for game implementation, and hes going to use that and get it working ingame for use with his modification, and I am going to stick to the easy stuff and do the animations, and modeling, and some textures.
What does this mean for you guys?, well instead of getting 1 Armored Core project, you get 2, mine will be more story driven and visual, where as Johns will be playable and feature custom parts and AC`s similar to the alpha version he has now on his site.
Reason I did this joining, is because ,Unreal`s Engine 3 is just too picky on some things, it takes a rediculous ammount of tweaking and coding to get things working, and even though the end result would be good, the consiquences would be I would basically have to start again from scratch.... (yea I don`t fancy doing that now with this much progress when I plan to have this done this year...)
I`ll be replying to comments made as I see them again as normal, any other concerns like weather we need help can be addressed aswell.
Oh and before I forget, I ordered the AC Mechanical Guidance Artbook from Japan recently (its OOP) and also the Nexus Nineball coin op figure for reference, can`t wait to post when I have those for reference :O.
