After reading feedback and watching streamers play the Jawbreaker Demo there has been a number of fixes and updates that are now all live!
Fixes:
- Enemy attacks missing while crouching or strafing fixed
- Enemy animation glitch when distracted by Beer Bottle fixed
- Holding up a throwable Beer Bottle blocking enemy detection fixed
- Death animations clipping into environment fixed
- Rare FadeInOut screen animation glitch while skipping cutscenes fixed
- Missing colliders on gameobjects fixed
- Occlusion culling anomalies fixed
Updates:
- Enemy walking, running, idle, patrol, and attack all updated to higher quality animations
- Enemy attacks now faster and more aggressive
- Stylistic neon lighting more dynamic and more common in gang hideout
- Items moved in scenes to be more accessible
- Additional voice lines added
- Additional jumpscare added to "Security"
- All desks, cabinets, and drawers can now be interacted with
- Items now stack in the Suitcase for better inventory management
- More polished death animations
I'll try to do future updates in big batches to minimise the amount of Steam updates, though a lot of what I wanted to incorporate into the demo is now live.
