The new format was buggy (sometimes didn’t save?), and reeeeally slow on some computers. That combined with the rather huge increase in save file size had made me decide to roll back. I just updated infdev with the old file system in place.
One upside up this entire thing is that I can now relatively easily implement new level loaders. Yay!
Let’s just stick to the old file format and fix any issues with it as much as possible, mk? ;)
