The first map of Episode 2 is taking a more defined shape.

Greetings everyone! I've done some more work on the first map of the second episode and I'm pretty happy with the way it's taking shape. At the moment, the map's layout is about 75% completed. Let's explore a couple of new areas I've been working on.

UAC tech fused with Marble Hell is the main theme for the second episode. I try to make a nice combination of not only textures, but lighting as well to create a unique type of environment.

Orange and green are reoccurring colors throughout the whole episode. With the proper and sparing usage of dynamic lights and reflective floors, it's easy to give the map that atmospheric look.

I'm aiming for non-linearity in this episode. There will be multiple pathways to your objectives and not all keys will need to be picked up in a particular order to progress. The goal is to make clever use of my map by having the player revisit certain areas where he'll face new challenges, without dragging the map out for too long.
