We promised we would do a "Big Update" and here it is! We have implemented some of the weapons in-game such as flare gun, HMG and more, aswell we implemented our version of Cremator. We have mostly complete maps such as Train station, Street wars and Canals. We are currently working on new textures and effects with the Source SDK 2013 which is bit tricky but we are getting used to it. We have an AI system which we are upgrading to make the NPC's smarter and harder to kill.

The Trainstation is not 100% finished because we are currently working on new textures, effects, and extra NPC's that would fit in that area. They are currently in progress and we hope that soon it will be released for you guys to see! As well there will be small combine and human buildings outside the Train Station with the lights and citadel in front of the big window similar to Chicago style buildings with scanners and more things flying outside the window for the player to see.

NPC's are our biggest thing that we work on currently because we are improving old scripts from Half Life 2 NPC's and upgrading them with new codes and animations, so that the combine will be harder to kill than in previous games. Taking cover, team work, kicking away granade towards you and such will be the hardest part of whole project which we are still working on very hard. That is our biggest issue right now, but we are taking small steps and and we hope that we will implement everything of that kind and animating it.

Weapons in game right now are the easiest part of whole project. We are modelling the weapons and npc's and then texturing them but the part that gets tricky is coding them for weapons. Weapons are easy to do but NPC's are different story. Animating a Metro Cop taking cover behind a concrete wall and yelling for help and then coding it takes ages but better to make it slowly and perfect than quickly and bad... Am I right?

Source SDK 2013 is the newest version of the SDK and is better than the old ones due the graphic and other improvements to it. We are trying to upgrade source engine a bit, for example changing lights, upgrading effects and giving the maps new style and a new experience but the SDK 2013 is a bit tricky to learn. But don't worry, we are learning every day!

Nice content you have here, good job!
But i have 2 questions:
1) that bradley turret, is it modified a lil'bit like what Merkava has?
2) why Merkava instead of Abrams (like in HL or Op4)?

The Merkava was originally supposed to be in the hl2 beta. The original Merkava from the beta was unfortunately, only a brush with some rather low res textures, but if you look in the retail files, you can still find the scrapped sound effects for the tank.

1) The Bradley AFV has a turret similar to the one used in HL1 for a continuity factor. It is slightly modified by the individual crews as they see fit, although in the game we will only have that one model and texture.
2) The Merkava was in the leak version of Half-Life 2 and therefore we decided to keep it. It also adds a bit of variety to the game instead of using a very generic M1 Abrams. Another idea it could raise is maybe the combine had to fight a small insurrection in City 17 before Gordon arrived and they had to import Merkava's from Israel. Afterward, they were decommissioned to be used by the Conscripts.

I thought Snarks where in the Beta files to. But unfortunately i never saw them in the leaked files. The HL wiki said that Snarks where in the game (or a smilier itiem), but later replaced by the brickbat.

So do you put in the Snark or the Brickbat ?

Brickbat, on Raising the bar books, doesn't apear nothing about that, but yes about brickbat, so we will add the brickbat.
