Half-Life: Enriched calls for dedicated testers! Plus a look at some of the new models!

Bloody chumtoads, can't seem to keep them off my banners...

But yes, Half-Life: Enriched needs YOUR help! As the alpha stage is coming to a close, I'm building up a small dedicated team to help me playtest the upcoming builds thoroughly. Does this seem of interest to you, then read on!

Requirements Beta Test Team:

- You should be a generally nice person who wants to help me make the MOD better. You can be critical and direct but always constructive.
- You'll have to dedicate some of your time to playtesting early builds and write up bug reports. I'll probably be passing you several versions over the coming months.
- You'll need to be able to communicate in English. At least, well enough to write up detailed bug reports.
- You'll need to use Discord and Github.
- I cannot offer you any compensation other than my graditude and a mention in the credits.

If you'd like to help, please send me a private message here on ModDB! I'm trying to keep the test team small and focussed at this time, so if there are a lot of applications I might have to put you on a wait list. There will be another test phase later, where I'm going to add fresh faces to the Test Team.

New Models

Onto the content portion of this update! Version 0.83 will bring you an updated version of the Gauss Rifle (or Tau Cannon). The model has been enriched with improved textures and more polies, while retaining its original look.

The next screenshot is all about the deadly machines waiting for you in Black Mesa. I did not have to add a lot of extra detail to these models since I do like their original general appearance. All textures have been updated and UV maps have been redone to give them a fresh look.

New Maps?

I'm pretty far along with the very last chapter that had not been enriched yet: The Hazard Course. At it seems now, I'm able to condense the 5 original BSPs into just 2 BSPs. Most of the retexturing and lighting work is done and I'm currently adding new details and fixing up the entites. If everything goes smooth, there should be a new alpha version within the next two weeks.
