Hello everyone,
I cannot believe it has been over two years since I released this. It has gone by so quickly. Furthermore, who could have foreseen the challenges and hardship this year would bring us all. I sincerely hope you are all managing okay. At the very least, things appear to be slowly improving on the whole and hopefully we are going to start seeing a brighter time ahead of us.
I still get feedback and praise about Echoes on almost a daily basis and I just wanted to make a post to thank you all for that. You all have helped lift my spirits during tough times!
Also, who could have ever imagined a new Half-Life title finally being released after so long!!! It is absolutely incredible by the way, for those of you lucky enough to have experienced it. Valve are back, and I missed them.
I have just released the source code and map files for version 1.4 as a few people had requested it - I hope you find it useful in some way.
Lastly, people have asked if I will do more modding in the future. I do have a lot of great ideas milling around, and hope to one day realise them, but being a parent takes a lot out of you! It is wonderful and exhausting, haha. I cannot wait to get my son into Half-Life but it may be some time yet...

I have had a look at the Alyx map tools actually. I never even tried out Source editing so this was a quantum leap in technology for me. I think the VR gameplay would be perfect for horror and escape room type levels...
2 years already? Woah, time really flies. Still have good memories about my playthrough :)
Still one of the best Genuine Half-Life experiences on that oldie of an engine in the last 10 years if you ask me! Can't believe it's already been 2 years!
One of the best HL mods I've ever played
I just wanted to thank you for making such a magnificent mod. Still holds up after 2 years and definetly will continue to do so in the future. Im sure it will eventually become a mod classic like Poke 646 or Point of View.
