It’s a virus!
NOT ANYMORE. I've been reported a lot about a virus, included in installer. Well it might happen because I used third party software to make a custom launcher for this (instead of bat file). It’s up to you, download my mod or not, but consider this — I spent about half a year to infect your pc… right. Anyway, this embarrassing issue is solved!
It’s about time
I am delighted to announce the release of this big update, which I have been working on for several months. It was a challenging project that consumed most of my spare time. However, I still have some ideas for adding more content to some locations, and I hope to discover more with the upcoming Megapatch 5.0 for Half-Life 2 Beta. The update offers about two hours of gameplay in total. Please enjoy, left comments, report bugs)

Moddb uploads being reported as false positives is nothing new. However even just for user convenience, a plain .zip or .7z may be warranted.

Mod gave everyone in the Discord group Trojans. Don't download.
And this was after installation. Not just scanning the exe you download.

Thanks for sharing my mod) I already fixed this embarrassing issue and waiting for admin to approve downloading, so it will be accessible again soon)
Downloaded the fixed version and can't launch it. I see the gray background, after that it crashes.
7800X3D / 7900XTX / 32GB DDR5 6000 / WIN11
edit: nvm, works after setting compatibility mode to win XP SP3 on the hl2.exe

Did you tried to run as admin?
yes i run as admin put xs sp3 and sp2....loading grey screen then crash.....i really want to play this :(

in the first run it says unable to allocate 256mb or something like that....i have i5 9 and 1080ti with 32gb ram
You can try different compatibility modes as well as run it as administrator. If nothing helps check out this page Hl2-beta.ru
