Good morning! I know, its been a while since the last news, but i've Spent the summer realizing some interesting update for both GTX, D3 & Q4.

Well, i've focalized myself in the Q4 edition in these weeks (this doesn't mean that GTX D3 is no more in development), so the Q4 edition will be released before the D3 version, but i worked on both edition for bugfixing and for new features, for example, the reflection armatures of the enemies of Doom3 and a new bloom shader.

Currently GTX for Quake 4 edition is finally ready (i.e. GTX Q4 1.0), with many new features and bugfix, in the latest version there was a bug with the bloom in the cinematics and some reflection texture were broken, also the main menu gui was bugged too.
In this final version there are the following features (i've removed the self-shadows but i will let you add them as an addon for the mod):

Support Quake4 1.3 for Windows and 1.2 for MacOS X;
Reflection on all weapons (inview & world);
Reflection on all marines (only SP);
Reflection on the hands of the player (SP & MP);
Reflection on all stroggs (also on bosses and special enemies);
Reflection on the hovertank and the walker (hovertank world and inview, walker inview only);
Bloom shader (v. 1.4);
flashlight powerup (casts any object's shadow).

the release date is pointed at the end of the week, yes, this week, for GTX Q4 1.0 and for half/end of september for GTX D3 ;)
