Well, things continue to progress, most of our graphical work is done, and I've been having a bit of fun myself with the coding of the mod. There have been several minor balance updates already that should make the game more enjoyable to all sides, a few of which I'll note here:

  • Antitank rifle infantry are no longer super-accurate against infantry, so they no longer function as heavy snipers.
  • Allied nuclear research center is more heavilly armored and will no longer succumb to most simple superweapon strikes.
  • Superheavy tanks are now more easily destructible by plunging and heavy antitank fire.
  • England only needs one point rather than two to get access to the heavy factory.

Another thing I've been working on have been new locomotors for all aircraft and vehicles. The planes are now all accurately speedy in respect to eachother, and all ground vehicles speeds are based on a uniform formula utilizing both their road and offroad speeds.

And, finally, your weekly eye candy: the IL-4 Heavy Bomber. Modeled by TopKnot and skinned by Godwin, this plane will carry the fight (and the bombs) to the enemy in defense of the Motherland.
