Gears of War - Ultimate Edition
Now you can run Gears of War Marathon on your Xbox One
All Gears of War titles will be available on Xbox One, if you purchase the "Ultimate Edition" coming this fall. It announces Xbox Live on their websites. The titles are part of the strategy Microsoft has announced to make their former console games available for new fans.
Microsoft also promises that previous DLC, storing files and achivement given to you while you played earlier consoles will be available on Xbox One. In addition, the games get a oppusning both graphically and gameplay terms. New missions, new maps and several extended cut scenes. Nevertheless, it is pointed out that this is the game to be played via backward compatibility, so it will not be totally optimized for the current platform.
