We're a few weeks into development now, so as expected, various things on our To-do List are completed. To start, our first original map, Amphitheatre One, is finished. All that remains is item placement. This map promises both open- and corridor-based action, and it also boasts a few custom textures.

We're a few weeks into development now, so as expected, various things on our To-do List are completed.
To start, our first original map, Amphitheatre One, is finished. All that remains is item placement. This map promises both open- and corridor-based action, and it also boasts a few custom textures. The geometry is simple, but with good reason; the map runs smoothly with almost no slowdown.

Secondly, the weapons are being overhauled. Fists have been replaced completely with the chainsaw, and the old slot for the chainsaw has been replaced with the Explosion Gun. The Explosion Gun fires, as expected, explosive rounds that cause small explosions. It fires as fast as a pistol but is considerably less powerful than the rocket launcher. Only direct shots will deal any significant damage. No new model has been completed, as we're still learning the ropes of 3D modelling.
