HOLD ON TO YOUR RATION PACKS!
We are finally at the point where we feel we can commit ourselves to a release date!
Set your sight melons to 'STARE' and point them at our announcement trailer!
Bad Cop returns August 20 !
On the day we are planning to host a live stream in the lead-up to release. I'll provide more details on that nearer the time.
At release, Entropy : Zero 2 will boast:
- A single player campaign that clocks in around 7-9 hours long.
- A fully voiced and choreographed cast.
- Squad and vehicular combat.
- New weapons, new enemies, enemy variants and effects.
- A gigantic official soundtrack.
- Full English audio and subtitles.
- Lots of achievements for you to get.
- Steam workshop support (deployments)
Localised captions for other languages are planned sometime after release. We also want to do some developer commentary for the game, and deliver new maps and challenges as deployments through the Steam workshop. We'll detail all of those bits in a news article after the game has released.
I have a few new screenshots to compliment this announcement. Nothing too crazy!
A BIG "THANK YOU"
Entropy : Zero 2 has been in development for five years. I started the project in late 2018 and we haven't stopped. The team and I have worked countless hours, days and weeks to deliver this exciting fan-made chapter for Half-Life 2. The project has never lost it's momentum. There are some seriously cool things in EZ2 and we cannot wait to get it into your hands. We are incredibly proud to be able to say that the game is very nearly ready.
We want to thank all of our followers, supporters for helping us and sticking with us throughout this development process. Some of you have been with us from the very start. Thank you to all of you for your continued support.
I also want to say a special thank you to our testers, who have diligently assisted us in finding critical issues during this last year of development. Your pursuits of bug discovery have been relentless and for that we are extremely grateful. Thank you!
It has been a long time. As Half-Life fans, we're no strangers to patience. Soon, the wait will be over. August 20th!
