Hi Eastern Front fans, We bring to you a shoutcast for Eastern Front, featuring the changes made for 1.500, which will be released soon.
Patch 1.50 is one of our biggest yet. This patch has been exclusively focused on balancing the Soviet faction. The changes from 1.40 (current patch) to 1.50 contains over 200 balance changes to the Soviets, in addition to about 50 minor bug fixes and art upgrades.
There is a saying that a picture is worth a thousand words, but we think a videocast is better than that. The four persons playing are from our balance team, and three of them were doing the shoutcast. They'll introduce them self in the video.

Do Note 1: The person recording the video is using a sound mod on Axis weaponry, so if you hear any odd weapon sounds from the Axis, this is the reason. It is not included (and won't be) in Eastern Front.
Do Note 2: This videocast was recorded on a Beta version of the 1.50 patch.

Before I forget it again... wasn't supposed that Ostheer comes in 2.0? Why are you asking in 1.5? Try again later :P
I didn't know that...Does this mean we have to wait for v1.5 then v1.6-7-8-9 and then EF v2?

No. That depends entirely of the changes we have to commit, we could leap from 1.5 to 2.0 if the ostheer would be ready for the next patch, which of course is not. Also, I'm sure we still have things to fix and we slowly will get close to the version tag [2.0].
But the point still stands, when you hear that EF 2.0 has been released, it's because the Ostheer is ready.

I found the Oshteer once, but it was catch and release. I had to let them go.
If the used German Soundmod is not in EF, what mod is it, because I can't find it. I love the sounds of it, so want to use it myself.
How is it called and where can I find it?
I guess they installed in in german due to the guy playing being german or something :P
