We intent to use "WASD" movement with a 2.5D Camera that follows the player around, this camera will zoom in and zoom out accordingly.
With these in mind, we have already performed some tests, and below we will show you some of that testing.
These are only tests and are subject to change, what you see below may not reflect what eventually gets pushed to the game.
We also tested our lock-on mechanic where the player would lock on to the enemy he is looking at, but instead, we decided to go with a different approach.
When the player holds the red weapon he will only target the red enemies closest to him, and vice versa with for the other weapons.
We are still testing all these changes but we will look into some different ideas so that our gameplay is reasonable and turns out satisfactory.
