I have been teasing people about it for over a month now, and the release date is really close. But I noticed I forgot to announce it over here! Well, here we go!
D4T is getting an update!
Now, I should probably mention that this is *not* anything related to Doom Eternal. This mod is and will continue being a Doom 2016 inspired mod. So don't expect to see things like "grappling hooks on ssg" or anything of the sort. The idea here is to polish D4T as much as we can given the time we have to do it.
However, that's not to say there's only a few bugfixes and that's it. Far from it. We've rebalanced many things, there's some controversial changes, and who knows, a couple new things that will improve the Quality of Life in the mod.
I can't go into details just yet, but I wanted to update this place a bit and let you know that this is happening. We're really excited to re-release this thing having applied a ton of things we've learned in the two years developing the Quake Champions: Doom Edition mod.

can we expect some new content or will it be only QOL, rebalance and bugfix changes?
I saw some weapons removed from the status bar. Are you removing any of the weapons?
Multiplayer weapons removed, except for the reaper, Grenade Launcher and some others.
The one I think got removed for good was the Repeater.
Repeater, Hellshot and Vortex Rifle were removed. While Lighting Gun, Grenade Launcher, Static Rifle and a reworked Reaper will remain
