Dead Island: Riptide Zombie Bait Edition

Meat market

The physical game sales days are numbered, says techno hipsters. Soon there will no reasons to buy the games over the counter, when you find better information, more choice, lower prices, not to mention a faster delivery by download. As the record industry responds game publishers to step up the wow factor in their special editions.

One of the more extreme examples of this is found in the Deep Silvers new announced special Edition of Dead Island: Riptide. Only the Xbox 360 version, of course. And only in "specially selected" countries in Europe and Australia. An over 30 cm tall zombie-interpretation of the iconic Roman busts supplied with steel cover, along with trading cards and extra weapons in the game. The name of the glory? Dead Island: Zombie Bait Edition, of course. Circulation should be strictly limited.

Their amazing trailers aside, the actual game itself is mediocre.

I prefer to wait to see the actual product before commenting.

The first Dead Island had it´s problems and a lot of criticism. So, maybe, they will do something about.

P.S.: But the figurine which will come on the special edition is REALLY weird...

Never got the first game, it looked okay, but reading about it after release, I don't think it'd keep me playing for too long, so hopefully they'll improve upon the previous game.
