I aways liked the PW crafting system. The recipes and prices was balanced. But, I couldn't just copy it to Persistent Napoleonic, because PN is not a medieval era mod. So, it was needed some changes on the "crafting policy".

NEW "CRAFTING POLICY"


I aways liked the PW crafting system. The recipes and prices was balanced. But, I couldn't just copy it to Persistent Napoleonic, because PN is not a medieval era mod. So, it was needed some changes on the "crafting policy".



WEAPONS

PRICE: Is based on the attributes of the weapon (speed, damage, etc).

RECIPE: Is based on the weapon material and length.



UNIFORMS/HATS/HELMETS

PRICE: Based on the rank of the soldier that will use it. Ex: The line infantry's uniform is cheaper than officer's uniform. Also, the infantry's uniforms is cheaper than cavalry's uniforms.

RECIPE: Almost all the same, because PW's has only one resource that uniforms uses: Cloth. Only the uniform that uses some metal will required it. Ex: Cuirass.



CANNONS

PRICE: It will be expansive. It wasn't easy to get a cannon in the PN's era. Ex: By now, the base price of a cannon is 35.000 gold.

RECIPE: They will use the new PN's resource: Copper! Also, those who craft it will get a good amount of gold.



SKILLS

More than 95% of uniforms uses the "Tailoring" skill to be crafted. So, serfs can craft those. As there's no tailor class in the mod, the serfs will have that privilege. The uniforms with armors uses the "Engineer" skill.
