We want to share our progress as we delve deeper into the exciting world of Cold Ice Remastered Beta 5 this month. But before we do, we invite you to download Beta 4 and join our vibrant Discord community. Still not convinced? Read about the excellent features of Beta 4 and see for yourself.
First, we introduce our new gameplay mode, Cold Skulls. In this mode, you'll embark on a thrilling quest to collect trophies in the form of skulls dropped by your fallen foes. The first player to reach the collection limit emerges victorious. But here's the catch - if you get fragged, you lose half your skull collection! It's a high-octane, competitive mode that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Cold Ice Remastered has at least seven other planned play modes, all compatible with our in-game voting system.
Next, we have another two mutators we like to share. In the first one, all players turn into toilets or camera heads. While we cannot say it's inspiration, it caused some laughs.
And finally, we have our new ricochet mode. If you have played its mod, you should. It's the best Half-Life mod ever made. So, in tribute to its perfection, we included disc throwing while the mutator is active. We locked all other weapons during this time. Our GSS friends will approve!
