Those new designs look really much better in terms of proportions. I'm honest when I say that the old Phalanx and Syndic never really clicked with me but from this showcase I'm already starting to like the Syndic much more while the Intego is a worthy command ship-esque model.
It looks like it has both a bit Battlestar Galactica and Romulan influences.
When It comes to the smaller ships though I fear I lost a little oversight on all the re-naming.
The Decimator was cut I remember, then we have now:
Vigilance -> Kuuro
Massias -> Prolipsi
Kariek -> Fruoro
Au'riette -> Ormos
Warlord -> Rohkea
Asdroni -> Muqaraea
Bu'direch -> Prosvoli -> Kynigos
Afthonia -> Baomu

imo the newly released Thrawn novel shows some interesting concepts for the Chiss Ascendancy's government system. I would honestly recommend checking it out if you haven't already, it could offer some really cool gameplay mechanics.
Absolutely amazing art direction.
Hated the old Syndic and Phalanx, they seemed so out of place.
Still like a lot of the Chiss curvy style like the Chaf, but I think this makes more sense.
Can't wait to see the ascendancy Star destroyer!
