This side project started as a distraction to prevent me from burning out on The Core's looong development. This of course started before I signed a contract with Slipgate Ironworks/3D Realms to work on Phantom Fury and Core Decay. Needless to say, there has been less time for The Core and... zero time for C42. There have been no updates made since mid-2020. Therefore, I believe it is time to pull the plug.
Just to put your mind at ease, The Core has always been the priority outside of my contract work and is still being actively developed. That project isn't going anywhere until it's in your hands.
Damn shame, I doubt much has been done besides the promo material you shared in the years prior but I'm still curious if an unfinished build is planned to be released because what was shown off was pretty rad!
Regardless, it's still a shame to see this go, but having so many open projects would just bog down production on all of them.
