After quite long of intensive work and learning Unity C#, today I can show you a bit more basic mechanics, typical for RTS. Despite some exams on the go (on my studies), soon will be more.

The previous article was mainly connected with 3D art. For now I can't show you more of this. I had to focus efforts on coding this time. And well, I see that I can be an expert sooner or later, and it gives me even more fun that modelling. But let's go to something important:

Choosing an enemy target to attack - IMPLEMENTED

Closing to an enemy if it's out of range (chasing, too) - IMPLEMETED

Rotating the turret to the enemy - IMPLEMENTED

Decreasing HP of the target and destruction when HP < 0 - IMPLEMENTED

What next?

- GUI elements. shown after selecting an object
- basics of recrutation system
- A* Pathfinding improvements
- Another 2 units - one with area effect, second for typical combat
- basic cursors
- health bars

New track for our OST from Cyberlich!

I've started learning more Substance Painter 2 (Student Licence), perhaps that'll be the solution for good textures. Now I have few exams to pass, but soon after them I have 1-2 weeks of free time and I would be welcome to show you something really nice.
