After quite a bit of development, Back to the Future 0.2f R1 is finally here!
Installation of 0.2f R1
We have offered two versions of the install package for 0.2f.
The auto installer will install the mod sfx and img files on the fly.
For users who have issues with the auto installer not correctly installing the required sfx or img files, we are also offering a manual installer, which bundles a compiled sfx and img archive.
Whichever install package you use, we highly recommend that you install the mod on a fresh, clean copy of GTA Vice City.

Installation of 0.2f R1 Auto Installer
- Run the setup program
- Follow the instructions, make sure to install into your gtavc directory
- Be patient, as the installer takes a minimum of 4 minutes to complete

Features Time Travel:
- plus key + turns on and off the time circuits
- changes the values by entering a date on the number keys or number pad (acceptable formats are Month/Date/Year/Time and Month/Date/Year and Time
- confirm your entry by pressing the minus key -
- drive/fly to 88 mph to time travel
After Time Travel
- 10 second lag before you can time travel again.
- BTTF1 delorean will randomly die after time travel
- hold acelerate to try to turn on the BTTF1 delorean
BTTF 1 Delorean w/hook
- to attach/detatch the hook from the Delorean, stand by the rear passenger side and press the action key
Flying (Time Machine only):
- hit C to switch between driving/flying
- same controls as helicopter
- handbrake causes time machine to go forward
Jules Verne Time Train
- the train doesn't have it's door's open normally. So press T open it.
Docs Truck
- To open or close the rear of Docs truck, press Y
C.P. R.R. No. 131 Rogers Locomotive
- to connect the part III railroad Delorean to the train, press turret left
- to push the Delorean to 88 miles per hour, press horn
Flying (2015 non-Time machines):
- to enter hover mode, turret left/right(num 4/5) or lean back/foward (num 6/9), otherwise known as the ascend and descend keys
- Accelerate, Decelerate, Turn Left, and Turn Right do the same thing
- turret left/right(num 4/5) makes the car ascend
- lean back/foward (num 6/9) makes the car descend
- Hitting both accelerate and decelerate will turn off flying mode and put you back into driving mode
Instant/Cutscene Time Travel Modes
- to change between instant and cutscene time travel modes press M
RC Mode
- press R activate
- camera button to change view
- don't kill yourself
Plutonium and Mr. Fusion
- You will be notified when you are out of plutonium/trash
- Go to the back of the car and press the action key to refill
- Trash is found everywhere, so it's unlimited
- Plutonium is found at the garbage place. Beware of Lybians trying to kill you for stealing their plutonium
So is it finally using its own User directory? Since all the effects were made for 30 FPS :|
What the installer does, is make a copy of your GTA Vice City directory, and then installs the mod on the copy. This way it does not overwrite your original game files.
I don't mean this. I mean the User Directory in Documents. Lot of Total Conversion mods make their own to not mess with game's original settings.
I run VC at 60 FPS so this would overwrite it :(
Also I assume this wasn't tested with the Widescreen fix was it?
Nvm. Simple hex-edit of EXE sufficed.

Can I still turn DMC-13 into a time machine? Or can I set a custom location for the time machine like the old versions?
When I go to sunshine autos I can't change to bttf2 delorean. Why can't I?
are you in the year 2015 or over? Otherwise you cant get the bttf2 DeLorean.

to bad you guys removed the dmc13 time machine /:
unless you didn't and now you have to get it some where else.. cuz when i try to drive the dmc13 into the garage where you put the delorean in to change it into a time machine the garage won't open.
and also there are no cars driving around...
i only see cars parked. If this is a glitch do you know the reason why?
