As November flies by us, we are astonished about how quickly the due date for the game is coming. Hopefully we will have some screens here soon. Maps are still in development, but I can't see why not in letting you guys see the coded systems that are nearing completion. Zombies are a bit stupid, as they can't go around objects yet, but I'm thinking of ways to fix that. Probably some sort of automatic path the zombies take if they come into contact with an objects box collider.
Anyway, some people wanted some more detail on the new modes that Joshua Turner came up with and I added to. So here you go!
"Sniper's Box"- You start in a small room, with only a sniper and some upgrades on the wall, you try to survive as many rounds as you can. You can try your luck for better rifles in the mystery slot machine and the mystery box.-All of the zombies come from all sides of the room, making it difficult for you to hide in a corner.-The only items in there would be pack-a-punch and juggernog
"Run"-You spawn with a pistol in a tunnel going straight.-zombies spawn behind the player and run after you-As you run farther, you increase you distance ran meter as you try to better your high score.
-You try to collect the different power-ups that spawn in front of you.
-The farther you run, the more you unlock (guns, attachments, ect.)
"Boss world"-player spawns in a big round area and has to find stuff to beat the boss-after the round ends, the boss spawns in the middle of the map on a pedestal and tries to kill the player -after boss dies the player is rewarded with ammo/double_points/nuke/insta-kill
This mode will come in later, when the game is starting to be less buggy and glitchy. This will allow us to let the game out sooner, so we can get some feedback and possibly port the game to mobile devices. Until then, I think the campaign mode should be best kept a secret, don't want to spoil it! Maybe I will share it later though... I need some feedback so I know it will make the game great!
