A much overdue update on the status of development.

Hello everyone, sorry about the massive blackout of information. This sort of thing tends to happen in one-man shows and I was too busy modding to talk to you all, I apologize.

We were scheduled to release Chapter 1 on the 7th of January and Chapter 2 on February 7th but massive, massive optimization and engine issues and setbacks have delayed me significantly. (I'm the only developer behind this, Dark Craft Studios is merely sponsoring/publishing it). A private beta revealed extremely jarring lighting and shadow artifact issues on midrange and mid-high end machines and entire lighting and filter effects missing. This is the first time I have made a graphically intensive mod (Worry of Newport was designed to run on basically anything) so I had to learn the ropes of how to optimize without reducing visual quality.

I've restructured almost the entire Chapter 1 visually for 2x better performance, and will be releasing it February 1st, 2012. Chapter's 2 and 3 have been pushed back accordingly, to April 1st and June 1st releases respectively. I again apologize for this delay but the final experience will be worth the wait.

Chapter 1 clocks in at about 35-45 minutes and features vocal talents from KillerTruffle, Ian Wiese, and myself. It should be the start of something great, as Triptych's story has been expanded and fleshed out after intense restructuring and expanding it's ideas.

After a post mortem of Chapter 1's release is conducted, information and screenshots on Chapter 2 should start appearing rapidly.
