ZombieMod takes a unique approach on the Zombie Apocalypse by putting it in the perspective of a military commander, not a survivor. Since it is 2 years after the first infections, resistance on the east coast is organized, resulting in battles rather than small groups fighting for survival.

As part of the June Update, we made a new survivor skin which seems more civilian to us, as well as made several new weapons. These include a new hunting rifle, a double barreled shotgun, and two variants of the R870.

Awesome, love the rifle :-) looks better in his hands than it did in the US marine snipers' for Nam67 :P
It's not an M24, but a custom rifle aidas2 made based off of (in a very loose sense) the m24. The m24 is actually being used by the sniper team right now.
R700? m24 and m40 are based off of it and its a popular hunting rifle in the US, i have one as well
Might be, but it's honestly totally a custom model. To list a few of the changes, the scale is smaller, the barrel is shorter, and the stock is shorter.
Originaly it was m24 and I just worked from there to look more civilian-ish - wood stock, shorter barrel and slightly different stock, could say it's based on the m24 I guess.

For me, It looks like a CZ550 Czech Republic bolt-action hunting rifle.
Well whatever it's based of, it's pretty god damn good looking.
