is it just me or do the boots like quite WW2ish? nevertheless, looking awesome and can't wait :D!
I can see how you mean WW2 like, but of course this is set in the modern times, and the skins are just awesome, as well as the beautiful modelled vehicles. Thumbs up!, p.s you should make a demonstration video and put it on Youtube!, need any help with anything let me know, am a film and media graduate from college and now am studying Graphic Design for another 2 years. ^_^
The boots are based off of the current regulation US Army boots, so perhaps it is the lighting or something that makes it look WW2 ish.
to me it looks look the boots go up to how they were on ww2 us troops. Modern combat boots are lower than that. look up pictures of our troops in afganistan and you will see the difference.
Ok, this is done with the limitations we have...we can't be perfect without completely remodelling the rifleman. This is as close as it will get.
sorry if i bothered you, the models do look great, and we will be looking at them from a much differt angle than this. i was just trying to justify what seemed weird with the boots. I mean, i couldnt have made this, you guys are doing great.
