I think it would be better if you removed health regen.
I'm programming in all of the gameplay ideas right now. I can always cut things out later when balance-testing comes in.
I like the idea of regenerating after using a medkit, but at the start of the video you seem to regenerate for a while without one. Did you have one already in your inventory or run backwards over one? I'd agree with Andrew that innate health regen (ie even with no medkits) is a bad idea.
