Re-packed version in which i tweaked the ZRP modifier (so you don't have to), deleted unnecessary junk files, added Weather Overhaul 3.1.1 and a longer grass render.
! UPDATE 3 ! - Just a small hotfix, adjusted crosshairs to a significantly smaller size.
! UPDATE 2 ! - Added a larger grass render by SeeZ0.
! UPDATE ! - Mr. Haandi's SMAA is a separate download due to some people experiencing issues with the Injector. It should work, but it's better as an optional addon rather than included in the package itself.
This is now the recommended version of my package - the Ultimate Edition. Tested it out extensively in the GOG version of STALKER, works flawlessly. I did NOT add the ENB file which is the cause of many incompatibility issues on modern machines. You can always add it LATER via the download link.

The purpose here is for the package to work with no hassle whatsoever and be as easy as possible to install and enjoy, and that is why i decided to not include the ENB.
Added/Updated Features:
1. ZRP Tweaks (Reduced Headbob, Added the Sleeping Bag, Enabled Fire Dynamic Lighting, Enabled Repair at the following NPCs - Screw and Ivantsov, Adjusted Crosshairs Size).
2. Antialiasing used is injectSMAA v1.2 by Mr. Haandi. Improves imagine quality with almost no performance cost.
3. Weather Overhaul 3.1.1. added into the package:
- Dynamic weather system, composed of 7 unique 24h cycles - every single day in-game is different weather-wise.
- Fully implemented sun (and moon) flares - both perfectly matching sky textures.
- Almost all sky textures from SHOC, CS and StalkerSkies pack used. All of them hand-reedited to achieve the best quality skies.
- Smart dynamic scheme creating random yet realistic weather condition chains - no awkward 'weather jumps' form clear to storm - all changes are fluid with clouds gathering at fist before the rain starts.
[NEW ADDITION!] 4. Longer Grass Render by SeeZ0. Developed for the RadioPhobia mod, after testing it extensively it works flawlessly for Shadow of Chernobyl. Included in the package as of today.
Installation instructions:
- Follow the "Preparation before adding the mod" section in the Summary page!
- Extract the zip file.
- Add the "gamedata" folder in the game's root directory folder.
- Add the "xrRender_R2.dll" in the "Bin" folder located in the game's root directory. (should replace the original "xrRender_R2.dll") - this is the larger grass render.
- Done, enjoy.
[OPTIONAL] 6. Download "Mr. Haandi's SMAA" zip file and simply extract & add the contents of "Mr. Haandi's SMAA" folder to the main game directory folder. To uninstall, delete the following files:
- "d3d9.dll" and "injector.ini" from the "bin" folder in the root directory (Stalker's main folder)
- "SMAA.fx" and "SMAA.h" from the root directory.
This mod is great! Thanks a lot. I was plan to make a new run of SoC after about 10 years from first one, and this is all what i need to enjoy the game nowdays. Just one question, is there any "revamped sounds mod" included? If not, do you suggest anyone?
No sound modifications included. I merged the following mods into the Ultimate Edition package:
1. ZRP 1.07 R5 RC (community bug fix patch +)
2. OWR 3 (much better textures/animations for weapons)
3. Photo Realistic Zone 2.1 (the best HD texture pack there is)
4. HD Models Addon (the best model improvement mod there is)
5. Weather Overhaul 3.1.1 (vastly more immersive and improved weather system)
6. InjectSMAA v1.2 (simple anti-aliasing that offers much better imagine quality).
I skipped the ENB because it can be a problem to run, no point in implementing it here because you can always add it later via the download link provided in the summary page.
And the point of the package is to be a collection of mods intended to essentially be a huge graphical update with QoL features included. All flawlessly merged together and incredibly easy to add.
Can you PLEASe make a version with more tactical combat? I want guns to kill enemies quickly (and I want guns to kill me quickly)
No, but you can adjust various elements related to how the gunplay functions in the ZRP modifier. I wouldn't advise it though.
The gear progression is deliberately designed to be the way it is. The starting weapons are garbage; killing enemies quickly is not an issue once you get better weapons.

Hey, I have problem with launching the game (ultimate edition).
I have:
- latest GOG version, tried launching from settings
- Windows 10, disabled game mode, installed DX9
- followed the preparation and in case of issues instructions on the summary page
- done everything according to the installation instructions
The game quits when starting, right when a little white window border appears.
I'd really like to try this mod, as it seems one of the best one currently. Could you help me out? :)
Game starts up until the small window, then it crashes wen trying to go fullscreen, correct? I'm familiar with that issue, the package should not be the cause as far as i know.
Something isn't right. We can try the following:
1. Run the game with admin privileges (Run this program as administrator). If that's not enough, then also enable XP SP3 compatibility.
2. Make sure there's nothing in your video drivers that forces anti-aliasing.
3. Delete the user.ltx file located in Documents > Stalker-SHOC. The game will automatically create a new one.
4. Run with the " -noprefetch" command line option. Click on shortcut>properties, and in the target box add that line. Should look like this:
"<installation path>\bin\XR_3DA.exe" -noprefetch
If that's not enough, also add " -nointro"
"<installation path>\bin\XR_3DA.exe" -nointro -noprefetch
If all else fails, then delete the SMAA injection. It's simple. In the root directory, delete SMAA.fx" and "SMAA.h". Go to the bin folder in the root directory, and delete "d3d9.dll" and "injector.ini".
I was so excited to try this out, but, since installing the mod, the game won't launch. I have the steam version.
Let's troubleshoot it so i can be sure that it's not a problem on my end; If it is, i'll fix the issue and re-upload the package.
Delete the SMAA injection as instructed above. Let me know if that works.
It's working now that I deleted the SMAA Injection.

** UPDATE **
The game stopped launching after the first attempt. I completely uninstalled and deleted everything. Then, re-installed the game and then installed the mod again without the SMAA Injection....the game still wont launch.
I've used/tested a lot of STALKER mods over the years and this is the first one that stopped the game from launching.
I'll update the package and delete the SMAA injection for now. The package will only contain a "gamedata" folder that you can add or delete at any time.
At least we have two confirmations that the issue is the SMAA. I'll upload the files for SMAA separately, so people could still add it if that's their choice to do so.
It's a shame we do not have a larger pool of feedback to pinpoint the issue. The machines i used to test this out were running Windows 10 and Windows 7. No issues found whatsoever.
May i suggest checking the summary page for preparations and solutions? Also, to check one other potential issue - You could try the Non-ENB version.
It's basically the same package, but without the additions. If that's working for you on multiple starts, i COULD take THAT base again, and re-tweak it.
I FOUND THE ISSUE!!
It wasn't the SMAA injection. It was the "bin" folder included with the mod. I only added the Game Data folder and the SMAA files and the game works perfectly!!

That's weird, but i'm glad i separated the SMAA injector and added it as an optional download. It SHOULD work perfectly fine, but as you mentioned, you needed a different approach.

My one "Wish List" item, would be to replace the gun crosshairs with something less distracting and simple. I would actually prefer the crosshairs when "unequipped".

hey so i followed the instructions and tried to install it, the game doesn't crash but it also doesn't change anything, i also have the 2009 stalker complete mod installed, is that what's messing with it? (just made an account, i'm very new to all this)
i still want to keep core of game. like not changing guns and anything only graphics redisighn

So I have a Problem... I installed the Mod Pack yesterday and started my first playthrough....
Now, today I didnt know If I had to re-do all of the Options in the ''modifier'' program... so I just did... tried starting the Game and continue on the Saves from yesterday... My Game crashes in the Loading Screen now... just closes down and nothing seems to fix it.
Whats wrong with that?
Exact Moment in Load Screen is ''Game client synchronise'' thats when it crashes.

I can't seem to get this mod to work. I did all the troubleshooting you suggested, uninstalled reinstalled a few times, did all the the pre install setup correctly, and still nothing is working, it loads up the little window before it boots up the game then doesn't load up all the way. Is there any fixes?
