Some new stuff I have planned (a little late by a few years, but once it’s ready, perhaps better in some ways than it would have been.)

Relictors
loyalist marines expelled from the imperium for making use of chaotic technology, warp relics, daemon weapons, etc.
start with a second hq structure called “the Crucible” (crucible’s health is linked to the souls resource
can use the crucible to perform chaotic miracles, if the crucible’s health becomes 0 it opens unleashing the wrath of empyrean (really not a good thing), relictors can call on assistance from “the insidious corps” (a cursed imperial guard regiment I made up once) and at great risk upon the ”rebel gods” for assistance (nekomo (the chaos god of atheism) , nozttomo (the great undoer (need to correct his names spelling)) , Qua (he which must linger always, ‘god’ of the umbra (let’s assume the crucible makes this one possible)) and perhaps Malice/Malal(god of self destruction) or alternatively maybe “the many armed god”(god of the greater good),
(plus some bound daemons, mind controlled gene-stealers and other related stuff you might find while scouring the domains of the warp for something to use as a decisive weapon)
