You stand up from a blackout and realize you are in the middle of an acid pool. Your friend is dead and you don't even know how you got here.

This map was a project to learn GZDoom from scratch. The main goal was to learn the editor and scripting, and to both create a beautiful map and also plan for proper Doom gameplay. I can't say I feel that I managed 100% but there is so much to learn that I still consider it a success.
Most of all, I've had an incredible time learning Doom Builder and using it to create the map. So much so, that I've been experimenting with porting maps made in Doom Builder to other engines for the creation of other games.
Lastly, I'm not good enough to test the highest difficulty level so you let me know if it's adequate for you Doom pros. :D

Re the textures, I only placed them around, they come mostly from the CRB Quake texture pack, credits for that are in the summary above.

Only thing annoying imo is the lag in the start area . Its giving me 15fps there . Inside it's working great .(at least the short part I played )
Absolutely amazing architecture ! That's some quake high quality map mod level stuff ! I'm absolutely blown away .
If you have any way of making the starting area easier on the GPU / CPU (I play on android -DELTATOUCH) then I would be really really thankful .
Is that a reflection in the water ? That's maybe the issue . Or to much geometry .
Im down to make a more mobile friendly version but also it is the first time ever I touch this engine adn performance seems very confusing.
I get bad performance at the end only if I look up or down (what? lol) and things like that which seem like magic at the moment.
It might be too large a map for a first timer but either way I'll take any tips or suggestions on fixing that...
