This is a mod for Coh created for recreate WWI battlefields. Features:
-No resource: you can call other off map reinforcements whit the morale
-Improved cover system for trenches
-Interactive chain of comand
-Pesistent multiplayer
.Army morale: you can win a battle without kill the enemies
-[multiplayer only feature] The world will be dived in zones, and every zone need to be connected to
the capital city of the owner faction for reinforcements. If the zone isn't connected the defenders don't can call reinforcements and can only use pre-esisistent troops
-[multiplayer only feature] Persistent battles: If the battle is longer than 2 ours the players can quit the battle whitout ending it. The troops will only fortify their trench and will not attack. Someother can enter to help the soldiers to win the battle (this feature could be no included in the final version)

This mod sounds very interesting love of the realism about were the infatry comes from, the ammo depo for abilitys and the commanders to control the sqauds. But sorry for saying this but i had hard trouble of understand the content of this info about the mod becuase some small mistakes on gramma but never mind hope this mod will be alive and kicking instead of being dead

I can't help but feel repulsed at the fact that Stormtroopers are the back bone of every enemy's army when they were in fact quite the opposite. Stormtroopers really only came into effect on such a scale in the closing months following the Spring Offensive of 1918, and in some isolated areas on the Eastern front the year before.

The whole basis of the early years of the first world war were human wave attacks and mass artillery supremacy, which only increased in intensity as time went on.

That and, shouldn't the machine gun squad be more accurate and more deadly?

its old mgs so less accurate and less rate of fire srry (not part of the team) and what would b really needed would b air support as that was actualy important in ww1(surprisingly)

the sstormtropers will be necessary fpr winning, if u don't want to kill about 300 mans per battle. For the arty, there will be a lot of mortars, whit increased range, and off map support. The mg will be more inaccurate but more more more deadly

Well sure, but human wave attacks epitomized trench warfare.

In regards to artillery, I was just wondering how you would be able to have trenches and men within them to be resilient against artillery - when in the game now a 105 Howitzer strike can basically wipe out anything.

whats the territory capturing going to be like? do you have to capture a point of just flush every enemy you see out to convert it?

the cap system will be like BotB, the units have to stay in the territory to cap it
