Description

PLEASE READ.

I tried to make this design look as unique as possible as it is supposed to be Icelandic by manufacturer.

The RS-I was first drawn up during the fall of Britain by the Reykjavik Steel motors company in 1943. After multiple failed designs and tests that were to meet the criterion of a highly mobile medium tank from 1944-45, the final design seemed promising. Dubbed in trials simply as the Mk I, the tank met all areas needed for it to enter service. The RS-I, as it was renamed when manufacturing started, began serving as Iceland's MBT in 1946. The RS-I was relatively well armoured, and could easily face off against most tanks the Reich could throw at it. The most destinctive feature of the RS-I was the fact it didn't have tracks, or at least not the conventional sort. Instead, it had large, heavy-duty shock-absorbent road wheels to deal with weight issues on the ice, and when the surface was slippery, long chains could fit around all four tires on either side, allowing for more grip. Wheels also meant an additional advantage compared to tracks in terms of convenience. At least two spares were always kept on the rear of the vehicle in case one or more blew from a mine or tank shot. The MBT could reach speeds of up to 60km/h and penetrate as much armour as 150mm with it's heavily improved (British in origin) 17-pounder cannon.

I apologise that now I realise it looks like a glorified BTR-90.
