Modern Warfare Mod brings World in Conflict from the Cold War into the Modern Age. It also ups the ante on realism and authenticity in every role – Infantry, Armor, Support and Air, while trying our best to keep everything relatively balanced for fun and interesting gameplay.

So I read the tutorials for the air role (which by the way, helped me out a lot!) and something popped out at me. Through out my playing of this mod, I’ve never seen the little icons next to the helicopters when targeted by radar, only audio and text to the left. However, I’ve only seen the Icon pop up when a enemy Russian ballistic missile was launced. Is there a way to enable this, what graphic settings would I need in order for this to work?

Hi,

Warning icon particle effects were removed since MW Mod 3.0 as far as I could remember. We'll need to update tutorials to reflect this.

Normally we don't need warning icons anymore, because most players only play with 1 attack helicopter (it's lot easier to micro that way, and you really don't need more than 1 chopper, which has at least 8 ATGMs). So an audio warning queue should suffice.
